FAQ
What does pre-order mean?
You reserve the optic now and it ships as soon as stock arrives, in the order pre-orders were placed. You can cancel for a full refund any time before it ships.
What's the difference between a red dot and a holographic sight?
A red dot reflects an LED off a coated lens. A holographic sight like the RAID® projects the reticle as a hologram rather than reflecting a single dot.
What does first focal plane (FFP) mean?
On an FFP scope like the AURORA®, the reticle scales with magnification, so holdovers stay accurate at every zoom level.
Will it fit my rail?
Every Hakken optic mounts to a Picatinny rail. The PRISM® sights include a rifle adapter and can also mount directly to compatible pistol plates. Check the Rail Adapter line in each product's specifications.
What battery do the sights use?
The PRISM®, THUNDER®, RAID® and AURORA® all use a single CR2032. Rated battery life is listed in each product's specifications.
Can I use a magnifier with my red dot?
Yes. The SFM®-3 sits behind most non-magnifying sights and flips to the side when you don't need it. The RAID® and THUNDER® are rated for use with up to a 3X magnifier.
